LEED CI and Sustainability Workshop

The second event hosted by the Green Resource Council of the Northwest (GRC-NW), it will include a 2-hour morning training workshop and an afternoon Green Roundtable Discussion. It will take place at UW’s Center for Urban Horticulture, Northwest Horticultural Society (NHS) Hall, 3501 NE 41st Street, Seattle, WA.

Gene Lisa, 2007 NeoCon speaker, will host the morning session – “Specifying Green- Pulling it All Together” Certification Systems – First, Second and Third Party – exploring the fundamentals of how to “specify green” and examining the certification systems and what they all mean. The afternoon roundtable includes a panel of manufacturers and design professionals who will address the top concerns related to their sector when specifying green. Panelists include Colleen Hazelrigs, Hazelrigs Architecture & Design; Sandy Campbell, IIDA, One Earth One Design; Bill Gregory, Director of Sustainable Strategies, Milliken Carpet; Scot Davidson, CEO, Ecowork; and Eli Gilbert, CAF.

The half-day workshop costs $95 per person, including both sessions and lunch.
