The major function of this position is working with guests, travel agents and wholesale partners over the phone and through email to share the UnCruise Adventures small ship soft adventure experience. You will provide exceptional customer service while responding to inquiries, answering questions, making bookings, taking payments, etc. with the goal of bringing each conversation to a booking. Quickly developing a rapport with the caller, sharing your passion for the company and product and utilizing appropriate information-building and closing techniques will help you to be successful. You will be working in a team environment. This is a full time position located at the company’s headquarters in Seattle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Answer incoming phone calls. Develop a rapport with the caller while answering questions, making recommendations and leading dialogue to a quote/booking
• Handle online booking inquiries; answer questions and fulfill booking requests
• Assist guest and travel partners with questions throughout the entire booking cycle
• Build a solid understanding of our Cruise Partner reservations system and Salesforce CRM system and create and update recordings accurately and timely
• Maintain current knowledge of all destinations, vessels, onboard services, land programs and marketing initiatives
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• BA or BS degree; or work experience in the sales, travel industry and/or customer service arena
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, are essential
• Advanced, proven sales skills. Strong understanding of developing a rapport with the caller, directing the call and closing the sale
• Strong aptitude for technology and learning new systems. Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce and reservation/booking systems (Cruise Partner IBS, etc.) extremely helpful
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize your work load while managing multiple tasks throughout the day in a fast-past environment
• Proven success at providing sales through service
• Excellent follow through and attention to detail
