Alchemy Goods is a Seattle company which designs and produces beautiful messenger bags, hand bags, and wallets from reclaimed materials. We are looking for an experienced sales individual to help us grow.

Alchemy Goods sources our unique raw materials from an expansive nationwide recycling network comprised of bike shops, junkyards, and advertising firms. We are positioned at the nexus of the eco-fashion movement, and a growing popularity in cycling. All our products are manufactured locally with a focus on sustainability, quality, and outstanding service. Our five year old company sells products internationally, both to independent retail establishments, as well as some of the largest international bicycle companies in the world. ::Sales Responsibilities::
• Identify and sign new customers both regionally and nationally
• Grow sales within existing key accounts
• Assist in introduction of additional products to existing customers
• Represent Alchemy Goods at trade shows and industry events

::Business Development Responsibilities::
• Work with the design team to develop new products and features for your customers
• Help design marketing and sales strategies in launching new business unit
• Use direct marketing to identify new customers
Environmental Awareness Requirements
• Live a lifestyle in accordance with the reduce, reuse, and recycle philosophy
• Understand cradle to cradle design principles and trends around sustainability in the fashion and promotional products industry
• Experience in a values-based, or triple bottom line company

::Minimum Job Qualifications::
• BA / BS
• At least 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development
• Exceptional written communication skills, including spelling and grammar
• Outstanding sales skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in an early stage, constantly evolving, team environment
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
• Direct marketing, or promotional products industry experience desirable
