As the Member Experience Manager, you play a key role in setting the tone for our community and space. That means welcoming, warm, and productive and mission-driven. You are the point-person, ear for, advocate for, champion of, connector of, and much more to and for our membership community. Anything that a member touches or engages with is of concern to you. While working closely with the rest of our team, you represent the interests of our members. You are responsible for hearing and addressing their needs; helping them solve problems; putting them at ease; and facilitating communication. You engage them through organizing community programming and events, and you connect them to each other, our team, the broader community, and whatever resources you can find to support them. You ensure the physical space is as welcoming as the people staffing it. You oversee the recruitment, hiring, training, and staffing of a host team to assist you and the membership. You coordinate with our events and building management leads to ensure the most impeccable experience for our members and community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Membercare
Connect members to each other & community resources
Stay fresh on members, their organizations, & their needs/offerings
Act as point of contact for full lifecycle of all members & items relating to member experience
Facilitate welcome orientation/onboarding
Build member committees to enhance community ownership
Marketing and tracking of all current member services and amenities
Manage all member-to-member touchpoints, acknowledgements, and introductions
Support tracking of membership satisfaction (yearly and other surveys)
Oversight, management and distribution of all member add-ons and logistics (keycards, office keys, mail keys, storage)

Member Recruitment + Hosting
Field membership inquiries & facilitate tours and information sessions
Hire & manage team of work-trade hosts to assist in space functioning
Manage day-to-day hosting of space / daily space upkeep
Support team in upkeep of information systems
Act as primary point of contact between members, hosts and staff

Community Events
Refine, improve, and execute Impact Hub-produced member community events and member enrichment activities
Support the team in evolving and creating new programming to match current capacity and needs of the community

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience building & managing a community, product, or movement
Retail, hosting, service, community management are all relevant experiences
Ability to break work into smaller, actionable tasks & delegate
Experience managing a volunteer team.
Experience managing facilities, billing systems, or operations
Strong planning and project management skills with the demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Resourceful problem-solver & critical thinker, always driven to improve everything
Exceptional organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail and aptitude for follow-up.
Superior communication skills - in-person, email and phone.
Space-savvy and able/willing to plunge a toilet or tighten a screw
Comfortable working as part of a small team with ambitious goals.
Must be an incredible self-starter and fast learner.
Positive, friendly attitude.
Proficiency in cloud-based applications, previous use with CRM platforms and google apps a plus.

DETAILS + COMPENSATION:
This is a Full-Time position. Annual salary opportunity $35,000 - 42,000 DOE.
