Seattle, WA 98124

The Office of Sustainability & Environment (OSE) develops and implements citywide environmental policies and programs to advance a sustainable, equitable, and carbon neutral future for Seattle while creating vibrant communities and building shared prosperity. As part of this mission, OSE provides strategic direction in Seattle's food policy work, including advancing the coordinated, multi-department Seattle Food Action Plan, and implementing the Fresh Bucks food access program.

The Fresh Bucks program makes healthy food more affordable for low-income households. Fresh Bucks is a cross-sector initiative with many partners across business, community, and government sectors, including over 30 farmers markets, grocery stores, health clinics, and community-based organizations. To help ensure the success of this program, we have an opportunity to bring in a Program & Contracts Specialist to be part of the Fresh Bucks program team.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing, overseeing, and monitoring contracts with Fresh Bucks partners, including farmers market organizations and Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) providers. OSE prioritizes racial equity and environmental justice in our work to protect Seattle's environment, and you should share OSE's commitment.
