The Office of Sustainability & Environment (OSE) develops and implements citywide environmental policies and programs to advance a sustainable, equitable, and carbon neutral future for Seattle while creating vibrant communities and building shared prosperity. As part of this mission, OSE provides strategic direction in Seattle's food policy work to advance Seattle's Food Action Plan, implement the Fresh Bucks food access program, and pilot new initiatives.

The Fresh Bucks program makes healthy food more affordable for low-income households. Fresh Bucks is a cross-sector initiative with many partners across business, community, and government sectors, including over 30 farmers markets, grocery stores, health clinics, and community-based organizations. To help ensure the success of Fresh Bucks and related food access programs, we have an opportunity to bring in a Data & Evaluation Lead to be part of the food team.

In this role, you will lead evaluation and performance measurement for Fresh Bucks and related food programs. You will support OSE's food team, along with key stakeholders, in designing and carrying out program evaluations, developing performance metrics and data management systems, analyzing evaluation data from multiple sources, summarizing results, and communicating success and recommendations to key internal and external stakeholders. OSE prioritizes racial equity and environmental justice in our work to protect Seattle's environment, and you should share OSE's commitment.
