Northwest Hub is an on-line news site in the making that will provide exclusive reporting on the people, projects, and advancements in the land use and development arena. As we ramp up for launch, we’re looking for an Editorial Assistant to join our dynamic team.

This position will work directly with the Editor to assist with all aspects of producing and publishing daily online content. Varied interests encouraged, though specific interests in news, urban issues, redevelopment, and city planning strongly preferred.

Duties include: Writing and editing. Coordinating web content, e-mail campaigns, and e-newsletters for our site, as well as multi-media projects and events. Updating, revising, expanding, or tweaking existing content; creating scripts, revising html templates, developing original content, and online project management.

Required skills: An understanding of the one-to-one nature of the Web, excellent oral and written communication, a proven ability to work collaboratively and to multi-task. Project management, editing skills and experience with code essential.
