We're a national non-profit that builds the people power it takes to win hard-fought campaigns and make real change on some of the most important issues of our day. That's why Fund for the Public Interest is hiringpeople to work on campaigns for America's leading grassroots action groups - here in X city, we're working with Environment Washington to protect Puget Sound from toxic dumping. We're hiring for a number of different positions.

As a canvasser with Fund for the Public Interest, you'll go out into communities, knocking on doors and talking to people about the issue to raise awareness, build our membership, and raise money for the organizations we work with. We're also recruiting our best staff with leadership or management experience for the Field Manager position. Field Managers are more involved in recruiting, motivating and training their fellow canvassers to hit our goals. They also have additional responsibilities to set performance goals, map out canvassing territories, keep good financial records, and help implement the non-canvassing aspects of the campaign (media, coalition-building, petitioning).

Salary and Benefits:

Canvassers generally earn about $400 - $600 each week. Field Managers earn an additional $50 - $100 each week. Healthcare benefits and more.
