WSU Snohomish County Extension's Sustainable Community Stewards host Free Repair Cafes in Everett March 10 and April 14, 10 Am – 2 PM

Have broken stuff laying around your home or garage? Should you just toss it? No Way! Bring your broken stuff to the Repair Café! Repair Cafes are all about fixing stuff instead of throwing those items into the landfill.

Snohomish County residents are encouraged to bring in their beloved broken items to get repair help from local repair specialists – for FREE! Repairable items might include a broken lamp, ripped jeans that need stitching, a vase that needs gluing, or a vacuum belt that needs replacing.

Washington State University Snohomish County Extension’s Sustainable Community Stewards are hosting two upcoming Repair Café Events on Saturday, March 10th and April 14th at the
Everett Public Works Spada Conference Room, 3200 Cedar Street in Everett. Both café’s run 10 am to 2 pm. Pre-registration is recommended so that you know what parts to bring with you. Walk-ins are also welcome.

For more information go to WSU Extension Sustainable Community Steward’s Facebook page, or visit their website: http://tinyurl.com/wsu-scs.

If you are interested in participating email [email protected] or call 425-357-6027.

These events are made possible with support from Snohomish County Public Works – Solid Waste Division, the City of Everett and Repair Cafe Foundation. repaircafe.org
