Will the world act on climate change fast enough? If not, some propose that we consider geoengineering - the deliberate large-scale manipulation of the planetary environment. This free Climate Science on Tap event will explore geoengineering, and the scientific, political and ethical questions around geoengineering tests.

Join us for insightful presentations and a lively panel discussion with philosopher Stephen Gardiner [University of Washington], atmospheric scientist Thomas Ackerman [Joint Institute for the Study of the Atmosphere and Ocean], political scientist Sikina Jinnah [UC Santa Cruz], and ethicist Christopher Preston [University of Montana]. Advanced tickets are recommended and available on Stranger Tickets
