Wild and Scenic Film Festival

11 Films. Happy Hour. Raffle. Silent Auction. Adventure

Does the Colorado River Reach The Sea? What inspires a 14 year old to rock climbing competition success? How did one small New York town, so no to fracking?

In the middle of a historic drought, the Colorado River was allowed to reach the Sea of Cortez for the first time in 20 years. Four people navigated a re-watered delta by paddleboard, witnessing how this flow revived human, animal and plant communities along the way. A new film, Delta Dawn, shares this story by National Geographic Freshwater Hero Pete McBride, and is among 11 featured films at this year’s Wild and Scenic Film Festival in Seattle!

Join the Washington Water Trust to share in an evening of conservation, fun and adventure.
