Future of Fibers II: Emerging Trends & Technology
Join the Washington State Recycling Association (WSRA) for their last Washington Recycles Every Day (WRED) event of the summer!
Inspired by America Recycles Day, WSRA hosts four to five one-day WRED events per year, bringing professionals from all over Washington State together for discussion of recycling issues and behind the scenes tours of working facilities and technology demonstrations. These events typically involve a full day of activities including expert panel presentations, a catered lunch, facility tours and time for networking.
This event on September 19 is the second in a two part series about The Future of Fiber. Participants will be brought full circle along the current path of curbside and office paper recycling, from the collector, to bale brokers, the mill and recycled paper brokers. Come hear from experts about the transformation, challenges and trends of the current fiber recycling system, and see up-close the Nippon Paper Mill, a fully integrated pulp and paper mill specializing in directory papers and other lightweight printed papers.
