Good Business Workshop: Getting Your Story Right and Getting Your Story Read
Tools for Tomorrow brings two experts with deep experience in communications and sustainability to present brand-building advice for companies that are doing great things in their sustainability practices.
Josh Chaitin of Edelman &
Janet DeDonato of Methodologie
team up for a Good Business Workshop to bring us:
Getting Your Story Right, and Getting Your Story Read
Sharing the social, environmental and economic information of your sustainability report helps build a positive reputation within your own industry and beyond. Companies are seeing value in their environmental story and incorporating it into their marketing strategies. This session will propose the benefits and risks of using sustainability-related data in marketing and PR. In addition, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) issued rulings in the fall of 2012 will be explored to provide guidance on making claims. Topics to be covered include: storifying your report, visual tools for communications and greenwashing risks.
Tickets: $25 member early bird, $35 after April 3 $30 non-member early bird, $40 after April 3
