Friends of the Cedar River Watershed (FCRW) is bringing the National Wild and Scenic Film Festival to Seattle on September 23rd and 24th. The traveling tour brings together a selection of films from the annual festival held in Nevada City, CA. FCRW is hosting this year’s Seattle event thanks to a donation from the Seattle Patagonia store. The featured films are produced by small and often independent filmmakers from around the world. The film selection featured at the Seattle Wild and Scenic runs the gamut from impassioned to whimsical and covers a range of topics from climbing expeditions in Africa to sustainable farming practices in the United States and surfing on the Snake River.

Tickets are available at www.cedarriver.org. Tickets are per night-- $8 in advance or $10 at the door. A special $25 donation gets you a film DVD, one-year membership to FCRW, and one ticket.
