What’s the buzz all about? Join Washington’s Next Generation in a tour of the up and coming South Lake Union neighborhood. Urban revitalization is a hot topic and South Lake Union is the epitome of this concept in Seattle. We’ll be stopping at three places to get a feel for the neighborhood.

First, a tour of the award-winning Terry Thomas building with lead architect Scott Thompson to see what happens when jaw-dropping aesthetics and the newest (and oldest) green building techniques meet. Then we’ll drop in on the South Lake Union Discovery Center with Noelle Smithhart, Vulcan community relations specialist, neighborhood denizen and self-described SLU fanatic to learn about the lay of the land. For the finale, we’ll take a tour of cool public art on our way to SoulWine, for a peek at Michael Teer’s not-yet-open wine store where we can sip and converse. Don’t miss it! RSVP to [email protected]

Free! Tuesday, November 16th
5:30pm to 7:30pm
Starting at the Terry Thomas building at 225 Terry Ave.
