Varsity Tutors is seeking exceptionally talented tutors to join our rapidly growing team as independent contractors! We are looking for tutors who are passionate about teaching and highly knowledgeable in their field to work with a variety of academic subjects, languages, and admissions/placement exams. We are also seeking tutors for our growing Online Classroom, where tutors can interface with students using video and interactive teaching tools. Applicants can demonstrate their knowledge and skills during our unique interview process.

Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of one or more academic or test prep subjects
- Proof of high grades or test scores
- Prior experience with mentoring or teaching students of various ages
- Successful completion of an in-depth interview, including demonstration of subject knowledge and teaching skills

Location

Background:
In 1990, the Washington State Legislature created the Regional Fisheries Enhancement Group (RFEG) Program to involve local communities, citizen volunteers, and landowners in the state's salmon recovery efforts. Each of the 14 RFEGs are community-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations with missions to restore sustainable salmon runs through on-the-ground stream restoration efforts as well as educating and involving the public in community-based salmon recovery activities.
