The Seattle Housing Authority, a nationally recognized leader in developing and maintaining affordable, innovative housing communities, is accepting applications for a part-time Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability Intern to assist with the agency's sustainability initiatives. Under direct supervision, the intern will assist the Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability Team in collecting and organizing datasets, engaging staff and residents, and supporting the administration of programs on energy, water and solid waste in a diverse, multicultural, multilingual environment.

Position Summary: Intern(s) will facilitate and coordinate SHADOW’s environmental education programs by leading hands-on experiential field trips, developing and implementing curriculum, and assisting with daily administration and operations. SHADOW hosts nearly 30 fourth-grade classrooms throughout the month of October from Tahoma School District, the majority of which will be facilitated by the intern.
