The Mercer Island Farmers Market (MIFM) is a 501(c)(3) organization serving Mercer Island residents and surrounding communities since 2008. MIFM connects growers, consumers, and the Island business community to create a valuable, sustainable community asset. MIFM seeks a part-time Assistant Manager to staff Day of Market operations and support the Market in other activities during the Market season. This is an hourly contractor position at the average rate of 15 hours per week (June – November) with the potential for additional hours throughout the calendar year, to be scheduled as required.
Washington Trails Association is seeking a self-starting, organized and flexible Logistics Coordinator who shares our commitment to trails stewardship and volunteerism. The position’s primary responsibility is to procure, organize, pack and maintain the provisions needed for WTA’s Volunteer Vacation crews. The position works primarily in a warehouse environment to complete tasks. This is a temporary, full-time position based in North Bend. The Logistics Coordinator reports to the Field Programs Manager.
The Community Food Solutions (CFS) Manager is a new role essential to the realization of GRuB’s Community Food Solutions Initiative. The CFS Manager will work closely with our Backyard Garden Coordinator to ensure the success and longevity of the Kitchen Garden Project (KGP) and will also partner with, and eventually supervise, our Growing Veterans Coordinator.
