The project’s intent is to engage with the public and encourage people to travel in amore sustainable way, by offering tailored advice and information to help people who live in the targeted neighborhoods plan and make their trips by walking, taking the bus, ridesharing and biking. The focus will be on encouraging healthy and active travel choices when making local trips and commuting.

Northwest SEED is seeking an intern to support the Solarize Washington program. Our Solarize Washington program combines community organizing and a group purchase model to encourage widespread solar adoption. To date, Northwest SEED has completed 6 Solarize campaigns and catalyzed nearly 200 residential solar installations throughout the region. With support from Seattle City Light, Northwest SEED is launching a new Solarize campaign in South Seattle.
