Harvest for the hungry with City Fruit!
Help City Fruit harvest unused fruit from residential trees in Phinney-Greenwood and donate it to people in need. Each work party will take 1-4 hours, and opportunities are available daytime, evening and weekends in July-September. This is a family-friendly opportunity! Please join the board and staff of Architects Without Borders - Seattle on June 16 at 6:00 pm for its annual celebration. We will welcome Seka Glory Mkini of the Jua Lekundu Foundation as our keynote speaker and invite you to hear about our completed and new projects, meet our Board, Project Managers and new Executive Director, and help us grow and be more effective in our efforts to engage the design community to serve populations in need here and all over the world.

OUT for Sustainability's third annual Earth Gay will be restoring a walking and biking trail along the Southeast corner of Lake Union. Anchored by Fairview Ave and stretching along Cheshiahud Loop Trail to Terry Pettus Park (Newton St), this is the start of refurbishing the trail around Lake Union! In partnership with the Urban Forestry division of Seattle Department of Transportation at the City of Seattle, we will be planting trees, mulching, removing invasive species, clearing trash and having a great time together.
