Passive House projects are becoming more common around the Puget Sound but it is hard to find contractors with much experience with passive house construction. AIA COTE is pleased to announce that two contractors with both small and large passive house projects will present on their experiences constructing these buildings.

Hammer And Hand - Seattle will host a tour of the city's first Passive House, Courtland Place, on Thursday, July 12. Led by the project's builder and Hammer And Hand supervisor Dan Whitmore, the free tour will give participants a first-hand experience of the indoor air quality, thermal comfort, and efficiency made possible by the high performance Passive House building energy standard.
