Spring is nearly here, and it is time to dig in! Spend a lovely morning next to scenic Rattlesnake Lake on March 4th while planting a forest of native shrubs and trees. We’ll have an amazing view of the lake and the popular Rattlesnake Ledge, plus the occasional wildlife sighting while we work. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to take a quick tour of the facility with a Seattle Public Utilities staff member. There is an extensive history to this place with many entertaining stories to be told!

Urgent: Tell King County to Plan for a Better Future
-------------------------------------------------------------
In King County, we love our Puget Sound, local farms, clean rivers and lakes, snow-capped peaks.

That's why we support smart growth policies and hold local governments accountable to the Growth Management Act.

So when it comes to setting the countywide framework for county and city smart growth plans and regulations, King County needs to go beyond the past by setting a strong foundation for the future.
