The Duwamish Longhouse presents award winning Native American Flutist Paul Wagner and Salish Storyteller Johnny Moses in concert.

Che oke’ ten’s (Paul Wagner) current recording releases include “Journey of the Spirit,” a solo acoustic Native American flute album & winner of the Best Album in 2009 Just Plain Folks music awards, and “Prophecy Teachings of the First Peoples of the Northwest Coast,” a project partnership with acclaimed Coast Salish storyteller Whis.tem.men.knee (Johnny Moses).

It is an affordable family friendly event.

On November 6th from 10am to 2pm join hundreds of your neighbors at local parks to lend a hand in forested park restoration. Register now for a Green Seattle Day work party at your local park at www.greenseattle.org.

Without a coordinated effort, Seattle is at risk of losing 70% of its forests in just 20 years. The Green Seattle Partnership is reversing the trend by mobilizing thousands of volunteers to restore 2,500 acres by 2025.
