Lichens are major components of terrestrial ecosystems. This course will provide an opportunity to learn the most frequently found lichens in our urban Puget Sound area and major taxonomic groups.

From bear hangs to blue bags - learn about techniques to lighten your recreational footprint during The Mountaineers Leave No Trace Trainer Course for teens. This interactive, overnight backpacking course takes place in a backcountry setting and is one of the only teen-oriented Trainer Courses in the country. Participants will not only practice new skills, but also learn techniques for sharing the Leave No Trace skills and ethics with others.
