Friends of the Cedar River Watershed (FCRW) is bringing the National Wild and Scenic Film Festival to Seattle on September 23rd and 24th. The traveling tour brings together a selection of films from the annual festival held in Nevada City, CA. FCRW is hosting this year’s Seattle event thanks to a donation from the Seattle Patagonia store. The featured films are produced by small and often independent filmmakers from around the world.

Mountainfilm on Tour is coming to Seattle October 9th-10th, 2009. Each year, the Outdoors for All Foundation, with support from a grant from the Raynier Institute & Foundation, brings a selection of films from the international film festival to reach audiences who otherwise wouldn’t have a chance to experience the festival.

The films display themes of adventure, mountaineering, remarkable personalities and important environmental and social messages.
